*FAQS and important notes:

How much clay should you get??

2.5kg generally makes 4-6 cups. I'd recommend getting 5kg if you're making stuff with more than one person.

Can I do this with your Domestika course??

Yes! Absolutely, they work well together. Get in touch if you're wanting to do both for a discount. The Home Maed Clay Kit has a tutorial but it's far less in depth than the Domestika one.

Please only select option 1 or 2 if you're able to deliver your pots to me by hand - which means you need to be able to get to me in Deptford, London. Dried clay is very fragile and won't survive being posted. You can drop your pots to my studio whenever suits - be it now or post-pandemic. Please very carefully wrap your pieces in tissue paper and put them very gently in a box. For advice get in touch about this.

Option 1 + 2: Three glaze options are available for you to pick for your batch of pots: Satin White, Charcoal or Nude.

Glazes can be applied

a. to the inside only,

b. inside + dipped on the outside, or

c. fully glazed.

Please let me know on drop off what colour and application option you would like. Please pick ONE colour + application style for the whole batch of pots.

Please write your name, initials or put some kind of identifiable mark on the bottom of your pot. You might be able to pick it from a crowd of cups, but I need some indication to reference glaze choices.

If you choose option 3 or 4, this may mean you have somewhere you can fire and glaze your pots. The clay needs to be fired to at least 1220°c. If you have access to a kiln, you or the studio you'll be firing at is welcome to contact me for more firing info. It's ok to not fire your pots, but do note that they are not water resistant or food safe in ANY WAY, please don't put any liquid in them! They will be vvvv fragile and will likely have a short life. I kind of think that's romantic to be honest.

I'm so excited to see what kind of pots you make!
